Meet the hosts 

Jake is a Catholic leader with over 20 years experience in various ministry settings. He has a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology with a concentration in Catechetics. Jake has worked in adult faith formation, seminarian and priestly formation, diocesan evangelization, catechesis, RCIA, retreat ministry, and has a private counseling practice for over 15 years. Currently, Jake offers human and pastoral formation to Catholic leaders, is a consultant to Dioceses and ministries across North America, offers an annual Men's Retreat in British Columbia, Canada, accompanies male leaders on their journey of faith, and co-hosts two podcasts, Restore the Glory and Way of the Heart. With two children at university, Jake currently lives in Abbotsford, BC with his wife Heather and one of their three children.

Dr. Bob Schuchts, Ph.D. is the founder of the John Paul II Healing Center (JPIIHC), and offers conferences throughout North America to bring about transformation in the heart of the Church. Bob spent more than 35 years as a therapist and adjunct professor, while also volunteering in local parish ministry. He retired from counseling and teaching in 2014 to devote full time to serving through the JPIIHC. Bob is the author of Be Healed: Encountering the Powerful Love of Jesus in Your Life and several other published resources (including books, talks and workbooks) available through the John Paul II Healing Center. His latest book about unity and healing in marriage is called Be DevotedBob was married for 42 years until his wife’s death in 2017. He is the proud father of two daughters (and their husbands) and eight grandchildren. He and his family live in Tallahassee, Florida.
